The American countertenor, Robert Crowe, a native of Ascandido/California,
is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music. His repertoire reaches from
J.S. Bach's bravura cantata "Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen" to soprano parts
in Mozart's operas. In 1995, he was a National Winner in the Metropolitan Opera
National Council Auditions. Since the 1997-98 season he has performed regulary
in Europe, mainly in Baroque operas.
