The young French sopranist Paul Laumont (21 years old in 2001) began at
the age of 7 to sing with the Petits Chanteurs du Palais-Royal in Carcassonne,
parallel to a profound musical education (piano and interpretation). Already
as a treble, he sang solo parts. After his change of voice, he has continued
to sing in the soprano range.
Currently, he seems to perform mainly sacred music of the Baroque Era,
