Arno Raunig was born in 1957 in Klagenfurt, Austria and sang with the Vienna
Boys' Choir from 1966-72, 4 years as a soloist. He studied oratorio and
lieder singing at the Bruckner conservatory in Linz with
Kurt Equiluz. Later, he made a special voice training with Ruthilde
Bösch and Erika Mechera in Vienna. Several opera rôles
were written especially for him.
His main repertoire is the baroque opera, but he sang also in romantic and
contemporary operas. He has a very large range from: | |
